The initial rock has been put down for the driveway leading back to the shop and the shop and house pads have been cut in. Today the foundation crew is there prepping for the foundation to be poured tomorrow!
This is the spot where the house is going to go. This pic is taken from the upper portion of our property looking down at the road coming into the valley. The house you see is our dear friends and soon to be neighbors....The D Family (I haven't asked them if I can say their names or not, so I'm respecting their privacy!)
This shows wher our shop will be. The shop will actually be where you see the fresh dirt and the rock represents where the asphalt will be. We think we may even paint a basketball court on the asphalt! That would be fun! I can already see my son and his high school buddies out there playing! (okay that's YEARS away...but that's what I imagine!)
I still can't believe you are moving...unbelieveable! So exciting. I remember when Todd built our house and how fun it was to see the whole process. Can't wait to see all pictures over the next few months.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place to build a home. I long for trees, not to many natural ones here. What do you mean by the "shop"?
ReplyDeleteOh you city folk.....the shop is like a big huge garage that is totally separate from the house. It will have 3 garage doors as well as the fact that Todd's business office will be in there. We will be parking our 5th wheel in the shop and living there while we build the house.
ReplyDeleteThe property is beautiful. Build us a house next to you please. We will be there as soon as it is ready. I am not jealous often, but that makes me a bit jealous. My kids would love to play outside more, and these busy streets make it hard.
ReplyDeleteWe were out there this morning. Must have just missed you. It was GORGEOUS on such a sunny day!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful place! Do you plan on another move after this one? How nice to be surrounded by the country! You are so blessed girl!!
