My latest designs

Just thought I would share some of my latest work.

The first was for LeighAnne of Your Homebased Mom. It's kind of exciting because this is my very first install on the Wordpress platform (rather than blogger...which is my normal gig!)

Then I continued on with Wordpress and did this customization for Sara from Sublime Photo Art

Kim has a tennis fixation and I designed a blog to showcase that for her!

Laura is known as the Duchess of Reel. She's got some fun reviews!

Trying to get back to regular blogging...

I worked really hard on this new "Blog Site" for my MIL. What is a blog site? It is two or more blogs linked together with menu navigation giving it the look, feel and function of a website. It's a new service I am offering. My MIL is one of my first Blog Site clients! She has lots of beautiful pieces of jewelry for you to look at. So go and have a look at Gems by George

From Fun to Sentimental....

First I want to show you my newest pre-designed Brand Name look. It's for all those teachers out there looking for a way to communicate with parents and students and do it in style! I'm calling it Schoolhouse Teacher.



I got a few blogs done last week. A couple Couture looks, and a couple pre-designed Designer Label looks.

The first was a Couture look was for Jacki who was the winner of the big SITS giveaway! She wanted something bright and fun to reflect her personality!

The next Couture look was for Kelly of Jewelry by kd designs. Not only did I do her blog, I did her business cards, shipping labels, and packing labels. Hop on over to her blog to check out her jewelry!


Then it was onto a pre-designed Designer Label blog for Miss Matz! Do you recognize it?

It use to look like this......She paid a little extra to have the colors of this pre-designed look tailored to her personal taste!


I love the idea of this last blog I did. It was orignally a pre-designed Designer Label look titled "ribbon wrapped vintage". But now it is the home of a family memorial blog to honor the life of Emily LaRue Gardner McCleve. The family will be using it to share the stories of her life. Beautiful idea!

I'm ALL GROWN UP!

I was WAY to busy last week with VBS and the Carnival to work, so come back next week for new designs. In the meantime this is my newest masterpiece..........

That's right! You can drop the blogspot because I'm a big girl now and bought my very own domain name! WHoooo Hoooo! It even kind of operates more like a real website...even though it's really still a blog from the backend!

Blog Fashion

I installed one Couture Design last week. I have about 3 more in process right now that will probably get installed this week. So lots to show you next time on Masterpiece Monday.
Unitl then take a look at Equilibrium. It's a fun, funky, retro design!



I spent a bit of time sort of revamping my design blog and what I'm offering to buyers. I have new price points ranging from $18 - $88. I'm looking at designs more like "Blog Fashion" and asking....."How can I help you dress up your blog?"

Getting SAUCY....and some new pre-designs

It's finally here! Those SITS girls have done it again with another "featured blogger" style site. This time it will be highlighting blog posts about food recipes, household (cleaning) recipes, craft "recipes"....you name it! Kind of a GREAT IDEAS kind of thing! So head on over there are check out SAUCY EATS....they are going to start featuring bloggers in the next couple days!


Then I have some new pre-designed looks that are for sale. I'll let ya'll in on a little secret. Sometimes my predesigned looks acutally are inspired by custom designs that I work on. Sometimes, like these, they were the beginnings of the first idea I came up with for the client, but ultimately it wasn't a fit for them. Hopefully it will be a fit for someone else!

Productive week!

I had a really productive week last week! The first thing I'm excited to share with you is the new addition of my design portfolio. I created a blog that is linked to EightCrazy Design that highlights all the designs I've done as well as which pre-designed looks I currently have for sale. I feel like this has really streamlined things and made it easier and quicker for people to get a glimpse of my work. Along with the new blog is my new widget. You can see the widget right now on my right sidebar at the top. The widget displays my pre-designed looks for sale as well as a few porfolio designs. This week was kind of a Pre-designed week. I've recently sold a few of those and wanted to share the final products with ya'll.
This first one was originally titled "Corkboard Notes" but now it found it's home at "Buried with Children"

I sold my original design titled "Chic Lines" to Nicole who is a wedding and party planner. She is using the blog as sort of a "Event Planner's Diary"


This little baby was originally called "Little Touch of French" Now, here is the best part....someone who lives in France bought it!! How great is that! Her blog is set to private right now, so you can't jump over to look, but I still just wanted to share the design with ya'll.

So this is my first OFFICIAL "Masterpiece Monday" Each Monday I will be featuring my latest blog designs! Come back tomorrow for "Tirade Tuesday" where I will be sharing "what's on my mind"

Now onto the designs.....

This first design is precious to me. I designed it for my LONG TIME friend Allison. We have known each other since we were in Kindergarten and played on a soccer team together called "the Lil' Stinkers" How prophetic was that!? Someday I will share some stories about the two of us on a "thinking back thursday."
Allison and her family are just such great people! It has been such an honor to watch her grow in her love for the Lord over the years! Her family strives diligently to love and honor God and they do it while truly enjoying life and each other. I wish she lived closer, because I could learn a lot from this girl! Love ya Big Al! My next design install was for Kim. She was looking for something shabby and chic! She asked me to incorporate a butterfly as well to honor the memory of her daughter. This was a precious honor to me. I enjoyed creating this new look for her and she said it was like christmas morning when she was waiting for the page to load with the new look!
